These terms cover your use of this website and the information published on it. Because every order is currently placed through Amazon UK rather than with us directly, they also explain exactly which terms govern your purchase — and which govern this site.

01About these terms

This website is operated by BOTANIQ LABS ("we", "us", "our"), a business based in the United Kingdom. By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

02Where purchases happen

This website does not take orders, take payment or hold a basket. It is an information site. Every purchase of BOTANIQ LABS products is currently made through our listing on Amazon UK.

That has a practical consequence worth stating clearly:

  • Your contract of sale is formed on Amazon and is subject to Amazon's conditions of sale, delivery terms and returns policy, alongside your statutory rights as a consumer.
  • Payment, delivery and returns are handled through Amazon's systems. We do not process card payments and never see your payment details.
  • Order-related protections, including the Amazon A-to-z Guarantee, come from Amazon. Starting there is almost always the fastest route to resolving an order problem.

None of this reduces your statutory rights. As a consumer buying in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to your purchase regardless of which platform it was made on. 03Product information

We aim to describe our product accurately and to publish the figures that can actually be verified. Our Organic Ashwagandha KSM-66® 60s contains 500 mg of organic KSM-66® ashwagandha root extract per capsule, with no excipients, supplied as 60 capsules in a 120 ml amber glass jar.

Packaging, jar and label design, and capsule appearance may change between production runs. Photography on this site is illustrative, and colours can vary between screens. Where the information on the jar in your hand differs from this website, the label and the Certificate of Analysis for that batch take precedence — always read the label before use.

We correct errors on this site when we find them. Nothing on this site is intended to create any warranty beyond what the label, the batch documentation and your statutory rights provide.

04Certificates of Analysis

We publish the Certificate of Analysis for the batch currently on sale, and it is available to download from the Certificate of Analysis section of our homepage. A certificate relates to one specific batch, identified by its batch number.

If the batch number printed on your jar is different from the one published here, that certificate is not the document for your jar. Email us the batch number and we will send you the matching certificate.

05Health and suitability

Our products are food supplements. Information on this website is provided for general information about the product and is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something you have read here.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake stated on the label, and keep out of the reach of young children.

Ashwagandha is not suitable for everyone. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking it if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding; if you are taking prescription medication, including thyroid, sedative, immunosuppressant or diabetes medication; if you have a thyroid, liver or autoimmune condition; or if you are due to have surgery. If you are under 18, do not take it. Stop taking it and seek advice if you experience an adverse reaction.

06Pricing and availability

Any price shown on this site is indicative and in pounds sterling. The price you pay is the price shown on the Amazon UK listing at the point you place your order. Amazon prices, delivery charges and delivery estimates can change, and stock can sell out, without us updating this site immediately.

07Reviews

Customer reviews for our product are collected, verified and moderated by Amazon, and are tied to genuine Amazon purchases. We do not host our own review system, and we cannot add, edit, reorder or remove reviews on the Amazon listing.

We do not pay for reviews, offer refunds, free product or any other incentive in exchange for a review, or ask anyone to write or amend one. Where we quote a review on this site, it is reproduced from the Amazon listing as published.

08Intellectual property

The BOTANIQ LABS name and logo, and the text, photography, illustrations, layout and design of this site, are owned by us or licensed to us. You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise copy, republish, adapt or use our content commercially, or use our branding, without our written permission.

KSM-66® is a registered trademark of Ixoreal Biomed Inc. and is used to identify the licensed extract in our product. Other trademarks referred to on this site, including Amazon's, belong to their respective owners.

09Acceptable use

Please do not misuse this site. In particular, do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious code, scrape it at a volume that affects its availability, or use it in any way that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights. We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the site is being misused.

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.

11Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on general information published on it, that was not reasonably foreseeable. This section concerns the website; liability relating to a product you have bought is governed by your statutory rights and the terms of the sale made on Amazon.

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
