Most ashwagandha brands lead with a number that sounds impressive and proves nothing. Here's what's actually going on.
No one can verify a ratio
A "20:1" claim can't be tested by any lab. Brands can print whatever number they want on the bottle.
The ratio doesn't say what's concentrated
It could mean the active compounds. It could just mean fibre and bulk. Same number, different bottle.
"Equivalent to 10,000mg of root" is a trick
Raw root potency swings too much crop to crop for that maths to mean anything real.
